A place to check in and see what the Boone crew is up to. With an Army dad, a mom with a chronic illness, 4 kids and a dog a story is almost always brewing.

Lilly chows down
Lilly (at just over 18weeks) had her first bites of rice cereal last night at dinner time. She was unsure about the whole thing at first but quickly caught on.
I thought I would wait longer with Lilly but she sits supported, has a tooth, grabs at food, and makes a slurping sound if you hold her and eat anything. So we figured the gal is ready.

Lillian's 4 month check up
weighs 14lb and 6 ox (70%)
height 24 3/4 (75%)
She can do all the fun things a four month old can do, like...
rolling, reaching and grabbing things, laughing and smiling.

Brayden's Speech Therapy
Brayden had his first speech therapy session today and he loved it. He will be working on B and P for a few weeks and when he gets those Ms. Ashley will move on to L and G. Brayden put a back pack together for the big day and was so excited.

Lilly's first tooth
After a few weeks of drooling and eating her hand sure enough Lil's first tooth has cut through. She is a week shy of four months, and yes it is pretty early. Sierra and the boys were early as well so I expected as much.
Can't wait for a one tooth smile, but I am sure we have some time before it will be all the way through.

Happy New Years
Well, I wasn't in a big hurry to say goodbye to 2008 but midnight came all the same.
Sierra went to her first concert for the new year. It was a small teen event here in town where Family Force 5 headlined. Rob chaperoned and Sierra is referring to it as the "best night of her life". Parker, Brayden, Lilly and I just hung at the house. The kids were in bed at normal times and I read until midnight.
